Collecting general information
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This is solely information that does not allow conclusions about your person. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us, in order to optimise our Internet appearance and the technology behind it. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications for illegal use.
The internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you remove them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally exclude and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Notes on using Google Analytics
Your IP address will be truncated before being sent to Google. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to the fullest extent possible. Also, you may prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Google Analytics Opt-out

Note on buttons on social media networks:
Some of our pages contain buttons from social media Networks (Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Google+, LinkedIn, Xing) that you can use to share our news with others. We installed a plugin here (Shariff), which ensures that your IP address is not immediately transmitted to the social media provider when the website is accessed, but instead the IP address of our own server. Only when you press the share button actively, your IP address will be shared with the social network.
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques (such as SSL) over HTTPS. We point out that there can be security gaps in the data transmission on the Internet. Unauthorized access by third parties cannot always be safely ruled out. However, we always endeavour to protect our websites and all technical systems against unauthorised access by the use of suitable technical measures.
If you contact us by e-mail or contact form, the information you provide will be used to process the request as well as for possible follow-up questions.
