metalogic is pleased to announce the launch of its new innovative “Next Generation” forecasting solution – mP Xnergy. Available from autumn 2023, mP Xnergy replaces our existing mP Energy and mP Cloud forecasting applications.
After almost two decades of successful sales and the use of mP Energy in the energy industry, the application, originally designed as “client-server” software, has now reached the end of its life cycle. Some years ago, metalogic began to fundamentally revise the architecture and internal structure of its software to ensure its future competitiveness. Significant parts of the server components were redesigned to take full advantage of the benefits and offered by cloud technology. The result is a highly scalable forecasting software consisting of a variable number of forecasting instances that dynamically adapts to current workloads.
It is therefore with great pride that metalogic presents the next generation of its energy forecasting solution: mP Xnergy. This new, state-of-the-art technology platform is suitable for operation in the Azure Cloud as well as on-premises and offers the following features:

- Single code base on .NET 8 for cloud and on-premises operation
- High scalability and cost optimisation through customised use of resources

mP Xnergy will be available on subscription from both metalogic and its partners. The cloud subscription will be offered exclusively directly by metalogic, as SaaS or in fully managed FaaS (Forecasting-as-a-Service) environment, that includes meteorological data services.
